A beautiful Summer's day finally graced Worlington Village Fete; third time definately a charm!
The first and second fetes in '07 and '08 were a good time but a complete wash-out. This year the number of stalls was reduced in the expectation it would rain again but the sun and the fun plus 1,000 visitors came to make it a great day.
Worlington Cricket Club deserve recognition for organising such an amazing day for the lcoal area and Visit Mildenhall would like to offer congratiulations to all the volunteers and their families for giving us all something to enjoy.
Three over, not out!
Worly Village Fete is run by voulnteers from Worlington Cricket Club. A great deal of time and effort goes in to planning, organising, promoting and managing the fete. From permissions to parking, stalls to sponsors, entertainment to exhibitors there is a lot to take care of.
Volunteers donate their time to do something for the community while raising funds for the cricket club... worthwhile all round. Bearing this in mind please take the time to click a couple of buttons to give them some input:
Look for the Walnut Tree - Worly Village Fete is on the right just past the pub
